Tamil histrion Vivek debuts in Kannada


Hot Tamil comic Vivek, who has acted in over 500 films in variant languages, is eventually making his launching in Kannada films. The worker will be seen in the sociable film Mareecha, which stars Madhurima and Mithun Tejaswi.

Jarasandha


 Vijay's Jarasandha is a stylish action flick, which is fabricated with all the necessary mass elements. Director Shahshank has written a script keeping the actor's image in mind and has tried his best to blend the ingredients - actions, songs, sentiments, love and thrill – well. He has partially succeeded in his mission.
Krishamurthy alias Kitty (Vijay) is a gym trainer, who is happy leading life with his mother (Roopadevi). His aim is to win the Mr India title and Naidu (Rangaraya Raghu) is sponsoring him by baring all his expenses. In the first hour, we are introduced to his friends and simultaneously to don Poojari, whose men are assassinated by another gang Z. Samantha (Pranitha) comes in between and falls for Kitty. However, by the end of the first half, there lies a twist that unmasks Kitty's other face. Meanwhile, the cops are waiting for the arrival of Ravi Poojari after his brother was killed by Z gang. The rest of the second half is all about the battle between the two gangs to rule the underworld.

'Attahasa' first schedule over


The bilingual film of AMR Ramesh - director of - 'Cyanide' - 'Attahasa' in Kannada and 'Vanautham' in Tamil has completed first schedule of shooting in the dense forest and at the fugitive Veerappan hideouts.AMR Ramesh in a message has stated that he intends to release the film on February 10. As of now AMR Ramesh has shot for the film at Gopinatham village, Gadhesalu, Ammallur, Mahadeshwara Malai surroundings and others places for his much cherished project that he prepared in the last 10 years.Among the technicians for the story, screenplay and direction of AMR Ramesh, Vijay Milton is the cameraman, Antony will be editing, Sandeep Chowta is music director, Dilip Subarayan does the stunts. AMR Ramesh, Srinivas and Jagadeesh are the producer of this bilingual film of Akshaya Creation

Ganesh's Shyloo


Golden Star Ganesh's Shyloo has got a chit from the Regional Censor Board. As expected, the Kannada movie has bagged clean 'U' certificate and clearing for its release without any hurdle.Sources claim that Shyloo has shaped well and got good feedback from the members of the Regional Censor Board. The makers of the film are now planning to release the movie in the second week of December, as Sudeep starrer Vishnuvardhana is expected to release in the first week.
Narayan-Ganesh's second combo movie Shyloo, which also stars Bhama, is a remake of Tamil movie Mynaa. The director says that he has taken the script from the original, but he has made lots of changes and new additions to suit the taste of the local audience. Earlier, they worked together in superhit movie Cheluvina Chittara.

Dev son of Mudde Gowda

The shooting of new film “Dev son of Mudde Gowda" is  progressing  in Bengaluru.  The film which started its shoot in Bengaluru on November 12 .  The film stars Diganth and Charmi in main roles. The shooting of the film was being held in Karishma House and in Mallappa Gardens in Doddaballapur.   Producer and actor Chandru, Tabala Naani is the other artists who are working in this film which has Santhosh Kumar Pathaaje as the cinematographer.Chamri plays the role of dance choreographer of films while  Diganth plays the role of a film’s hero in the film.

Sudeep tie up with Allu Arjun


Kannada actor Sudeep has bagged yet another big Telugu film to his kitty. The actor has signed to play a key role in Allu Arjun-Trivikram Srinivas' next movie, which also features Ileana D'Cruz in the female lead role.
Sudeep, who did a small character in Ram Gopal Varma's Rakta Charitra, has given the nod to star in the forthcoming Telugu film. Other than this project, he is doing SS Rajamouli's Eega, which will be his first Telugu movie in a full-fledged role.

There were reports before that Allu Arjun snubbed Ileana D'Cruz, when the actress demanded a hefty amount to act opposite him in Trivikram Srinivas' Honey. Later, it was claimed that the Goan beauty signed the project after the actress agreed to play the female lead role for reduced amount. However, she has come out and clarified that she has not sealed the deal.The actress, who is making her Bollywood debut in Barfee opposite Ranbir Kapoor, expressed her shock over the reports, which claimed that Allu Arjun told Trivikram Srinivas to drop her from the film. She adds that the Badrinath actor is a nice person and those reports are baseless. Talking about the film, the Pokkiri actress says that she is in talks with the filmmaker and nothing has been finalized yet.

Launching of Vishnuvardhana


According to Sudeep, the audio of Vishnuvardhana will be launched on November 22.It seems things are falling into place for much-delayed Vishnuvardhana. The movie, which took off in July 2010, will see the light of the day in December and the audio is ready to hit the stands next week. The actor claims that the music director of the movie, V Harikrishna, has confirmed the date to him.  He has announced that the forthcoming movie will hit the screens on December 1.Vishnuvardhana stars Sudeep, Bhavana of Jackie fame and Priyamani in the lead roles. The movie produced by actor-director Dwarakish is directed by debutant Kumar.

Upendra-Ramya turn Katari Veera, Surasundarangi


Real star Upendra and Ramya's forthcoming movie has been titled as Katari Veera Surasundarangi. The actor himself has confirmed that they will be seen in the title roles in the movie, which is produced by Munirathna.
Speaking to a leading daily, the actor has announced the title and denied the rumours, which claimed that Katari Veera Surasundarangi is a remake of Malayalam movie Udayananu Tharam. Upendra claims that the forthcoming movie has an original story, which is penned by him along with Janardhan Maharishi.

Chandini's now the chief of Sony distribution


Chandini, who shot to fame with Upendra's A in 1998, was neither seen in public nor films in the recent years. After acting with popular actors of the Kannada film industry, the actress bid goodbye to films and opted to pursue her education.

The actress, with a desire to earn a doctorate, wrote a thesis on food and agricultural marketing and got the PhD from the Mysore University. Chandini later took up teaching profession and worked as a professor in a prestigious college.

Now, Chandini has been recruited by the Sony Entertainment as its chief of distribution in India. However, the actress, who was born in Africa and brought up in Mysore, appeared for the last time in late Dr Vishnuvardhan and Ramesh Aravind starrer Deepavali, which was released in the year 2000.
